extreme engine fit

i was keeping this to my chest incase i actually went through with it, but now my micra's gone i will share it with you (it's probably common knowledge!)

Nissan 200sx engines WILL fit in k11 engine bay's.

i was quoted two grand by my mechanic;s if i supplied the engine.

one for you lot to think about.....

As others have said any engine will fit and the £2000 cost reflects the difficulty, good to know though

yes it is common knowledge. there are are are lot of these conversions in taiwan.

The best lump to use is the one out of the bluebird/sunny turbo as that is FWD, apparently there are 2 knocking about the NE with this lump

errm - the engine would point the wrong way for your car... even if it did fit, you would need to do a bit of work internaly to get it working the wya you want to. For example , the oil pickups would need to be adjusted.

and for £2k, im guessing you will not be converting the micra to RWD

if you want a 2.0 turbo... go and grab yourself one out of a GTiR and use either an almera N15 / Primera P11/P11-144 gear box and drive train...
