Engine managment light!!

Ok so i was traveling down the motorway when my engine light came on. i checked the code and it said running too rich. just wondering what i can do to sort this out. i have a k&n cone filter. 1.6 injectors and fuel regulator...

Well. yeahh i know it would make it run rich but is it a worry that the engine light has come on? If it isnt then i aint bothered but if so then i would like to know how to fix it myself without taking anything off. i dont mind putting anything on however haha. dont want a garage to do it as they always seem to overcharge me haha :-D
