Empty gas tank lamp

Hello to everyone.I just got a very interesting issue with my K11.
The tank was all most empty,and the low fuel lamp came ON this is all very GOOD .But when i manage to fill it up,the light did not extinguish.So my problem now is that the indicator shows full but the light is still ON.
Is there a quick solution of the problem,or i have to get out
the metering unit from the tank.

Sorry if I wrote something weird or funny but my English is not my strong point ,i did not understand the thing about the "GLOBE"?
I just wanted to know is there some way for the lamp "switch" to be stuck,or it is just broken and has to be changed.What type of a sensor it is?Is it just switch type or some kind of electronic ampoule?If some one has a pic of it i will be very happy if he can post it.

mine turns on after a certain low level, after approximately 5-6 kilometers turns off, after another few more kilometers turns on again the second time.

what must wrong with mine moisture sensitive resistor?
