If you've got a coilpack Micra these can map or chip your ECU.

If you have the pre coilpack ECU then a Nistune add-on daughter board is what most do.
I went a different route and built my own Megasquirt ms3x ECU, that can be used in any other cars too.
There are other standalone ECU's out there also, such as Omex. Depends how much you want to spend.

The crank sensor is on the gearbox on the coilpack. This connects directly to the Megasquirt. For sequential fueling and spark the cam sensor also requires connecting.When you fitted the Megasquirt how did you pick up the crank position? Can it be done through the distributor?
