Hi, new to the forum! I'm working on my girlfriend's car at the moment, working to an MOT failure list.
How do you get the driver side driveshaft out? I've undone the track rod end, hub-to-suspension bolts, moved that all to the side and managed to pull it out slightly, but it says in the haynes manual to lever it out at the transmission end, I can't seem to get any purchase on it, there's no lip, just a gentle curve so any levers just slide off it
It's a '96 1.0 automatic, btw. V. easy to work on apart from the driveshaft issue (Y) everything is so tiny, although I've just spent a couple of weeks working on a Bedford TK so it would seem small :grinning:
