door panel removal

Heya guys n girls

i just bought some super S panels for my 1.2 SL....

now i was wondering, as i have to remove m myself.....how is the top part attached?
is it pasted on or something? And of so.....how can i remove it without damaging?

any thoughts?

hey mate they are not pasted on or anything. best think to do is break the window seal which is holding it on (if its a scrap car or summit) but to get the door card off with out breaking the top cover part is by removing the window seal

 

[quickdraw]

wind the window down.
remove the wingmirror internal plate
from the oputside flat head screwdriver between the slot were window goes and pop the inside lip off.
then undo the screws behind the handle
remove the winder (flat head down the backend push clip back, then pull handle)
then around the bottom and side unpop the poppers
lift the door card up and off thew top lip

nope, unfortunatly.....seats and stearing wheel are gone already.

I'll keep searching, i'll get the seats some day....
