Diameter of carb inlet + removal of filter housing...

Does anyone know the diameter of the carb inlet also so I can order the correct samco silicone hose, see:

I was also wondering how easy it was to remove the original filter housing to install a K&N filter?

Anyone know. It looks like 2" to me but cant be sure?

why dont you measure it yourself?

the air pan is like 3 screws to undo.

It's the same as the external diameter of the smaller common size of PVC drainpipes plus about 0.5mm.

PVC drainpipes? About 2" or 3" then? Anyone know for sure? Can't measure it myself as I am away from the war for a few days. Thanks
