Throttle Body Diameter

What is the outside diameter of the Throttle body?? I measured my k&n and it was 68mm, so Im assuming that is the diameter.

Also what diameter of breather filter would I need??

i know the internal diameter is 52mm so im guessing the outer would be bout 55mm give or take a few mm. the k and n will compress down as you tighten it on the throttle body.

Interesting, just wondering so I can buy a silicone hose for it.

when i was speaking to titch about this he told me he used a 70mm diameter peice of hosing ontop of his throttle body, although titchs car was quite modified so this may not have been the standard micra throttle body!!

When I met him on Monday he said he had the 1.3 on, sure he can clarify this.

yeah possibly right as he did have a bit of trouble with the 1.6

he had it on at jae last time i saw him i think
