cv boot help

failed mot today
windscreen has crack (will get it replaced)
no rear fog lamp switch
no rear fod lamp not working??

it has a switch for front fog lamps on indicator stalk and presume that the switch for rear also??
rear fog lamp bulb blown??

bit of welding needed on sill not alot.

cv boot split??
ive got a boot just need to know how to change it.
lower arm off and remove driveshaft from hub and replace?? is thats how its done??

just get a split boot from motor factors it comes in 2 halves and you glue it together around drive shaft so there is no need to remove any nuts bolts ect just cut the old boot away and replace with the 2 clued halves simple

i always take the upper hub bolt out and slacken the lower one and swing the hub out (like in the pic) then give the shaft a sharp tap inwards to free the circlip (with molegrips and a drift, in the pic also) and you can remove and refit the cv joint if you stick it on full lock
