Colour coding

Once I have finally found out what colour my car is I want to start the body work by colour coding the mirrors and the door handles etc. I'm not gonna touch the bumpers yet because I'm in two minds of replacing them. How easy is it to paint the mirrors? What prep do I need to go through first? Door handles are okay but I want to take the mirror apart and paint the whole thing.

Mirrors are very straight forward. It's best to mask over the glass than remove it, as you'l have a job putting it back in! Also remove the mirror from the car before you attempt to spray anything!

Hi, soon as i get the money for the paint, i'm going to spray my mirrors, door handles, bumpers and also smooth the boot over!

I've just done my grill from black to nissan red 526...also de-badging it.

One question for someone who knows: Should i use plastic primer for the bumpers or normal primer, after sanding down??
