Clutch Thrust Bearing

Hi there,
my 91' micras clutch thrust bearings have gone. I was wondering how hard or easy it is to fix this. Would the whole car need to be jacked up on a ramp or could i get the gearbox out sitting on some axel stands.

If anyone has fixed this before could you please give tell me the best/easiest way of doing so.

Cheers

clutch change on a micra is sooo easy! and a clutch kit is really cheap too!

sit the front end on axle stands and remove the wheels
undo the bottom ball joint nuts and split the bottom arms from the struts
pull on the disc to pull the driveshafts out of the box (and catch the oil that comes out)
take starter motor, clutch cable, reverse switch plug, gear linkage and brace bars off
put something under the engine sump to support it (normally a jack)
undo the mounts and bolts that hold the gearbox to the engine
give it a tug and it should come off.

fit new parts and rebuild it.

On my own I could do a clutch change in about 2h - 2h30ish.
