Changing Battery On Micra Shape 1996

Hi,
Am needing to remove/charge/poss replace the battery on my sons micra shape 1996 reg,n plate,998cc,the car does not have remote locking but does have an immobiliser,would this cause problems if I have to remove the battery,I know that the radio will need to be recoded,cheers,

No shouldn't cause any problems other than the radio, when I brought my first micra it didn't have a battery in it (no idea for how long) got the guy selling it to put a battery in it and all was good

+1 my vibe battery has been disconnected loads of times, and it still starts ok :grinning:
