CHANGING A CSC

Hi ive got an 2008 k12 1200cc ive been told I need to replace the csc has its rattiling until I push the clutch in all gear selection is fine has anybody changed one of these any tips would be welcome garage quotes range from £330 to £400

worth doing the clutch while ya got the box off.

hi took car to a garge and they reckon its the gearbox bearings going which I cant see has id thought it would be a job to select gear which it isn't and the noise goes when pressing the clutch in???????????

If its a petrol model,the release bearing is in the csc they are one part. Umsure of the diesel or 1.6 clutch

they are probably correct, the noise goes because the gear shafts stop turning when you press the clutch down

Ahh right that makes sense ive now brought another k11

Does the noise change when you depress the clutch with the car in gear and moving ?
