i had my head skimmed 1mm taken off just wondering is that ok with the drd timing or do i need to advance the timing

help plz

I wouldn't have thought you'd need to advance it, as by increasing the compression you're more likely to cause detonation. You may need to swap a full link for a half link in the timing chain. I don't know the max skim before the tensioner runs out of adjustment.
