CG10DE CVT Engine CC Increase

I have a 1995 K11 with CG10DE Engine and CVT Gear box and it needs a rebuild.

Having read through the forums, will the following parts from CG13DE make effectively make my 1.0 into a 1.3 without any issues?

- CG13DE Piston, Crank and Rods
- CG13DE Camshaft

Since the CVT gearbox favours the low/mid band, would it be best to run 1.0 pistons (Higher Comp 10.2:1) or 1.3 pistons. Not sure if there would be issues using the 1.0 gearbox.

I also have a throttle body lying around from a manual GA16, but I understand that an adaptor is needed and I would need a non nats ecu from the same car.

Any advice would be appreciated.

hi franmav, the pistons and crank journals are graded/sized and you can run into problems with incorrect running clearances if you swap blocks etc, a complete 1.3 engine may be a better route :)
if not, keep the shells/crankpins together, and mine seems ok with 1 grade of piston out (ie, a "B" grade piston in a "C" grade bore) and i calculate the increased compression ratio to 11.6 : 1 (which may be too high if you,re running a stock inlet cam)
and the t/b will bolt on ok, but the idle control valves hit the fuelrail iirc
