Central locking power

I have bought a remote central locking kit but the power cable doesnt reach to the battery what sort of cable would i need 2 connect it to the battery and where from?

You could just use standard automotive wire/cable which you can buy from places like halfords and motorworld. It'll say the max rated current on the reels so get make sure its enough for what the kit uses. If you don't know what current the kit uses then you'd probably be safe to get some that is the same thickness as the power cable you already have.

When you fit them make sure the rods arent obstructed as you can burn the motors out if they become obstructed, this happened on mine. I no longer have the micra that i fitted central locking to, but its a worthwhile upgrade.
