Catch tank / breather tank

Hi Guys,

Had the oil breather tank off for a clear out & a bit of a refit, noticed its 1/2 full of water (condensation) & the normal white gunk!

As the pipes only short from the cam cover to the tank would a longer pipe give less chance of the vapors & gunk being drawn back to the head?

Just a little paranoid that the pressure change from WOT to closed throttle could suck this back!

That will stop me worrying thinking logically (should have before) yeh it will only ever force vapour out just at different pressures! Ta Frank
