C+C Clutch Snag

Hi!

My other half has a 05 C+C Essenza, a car we've both been very happy with for 90000+ miles. Last Monday she tried to change gear and the clutch pedal went straight to the floor and stayed there. After she pulled over, she managed to pull the pedal back up and continued her journey without incident. The clutch has worked normally since.

Nissan's only suggestion was to replace the clutch slave cylinder at £480.00 fitted, but they couldn't guarantee that this would fix the rogue snag. Has anyone here come across this snag before and a solution?

Also, does anyone know where we can find a filler cap actuator without having to pay £190 for the Nissan (Renault) part?

Thanks in advance
Andrew

it sounds like the clutch mater clinder fault the best thing is to drive it. if it has only happen once it may be nothing to worry about but dont go to nissan for it to be done a local garage will be better nissan dealers are rip off merchants. if it plays up more often then have hydrolics replaced
the actuator would be cheaper either from one that has been smashed up or buy a universal one and alter it to fit.
