Well its now done for!

Was out sorting the starter motor today, got it off fine, managed to get all of it cleand up, then went to put it back on and guess what??? The bolt fell and landed inside the gearbox right next to the fly wheel

Thats it for this year folks - don't expect to see it in the new year.

Well the gearbox is going to have to come off for a start so thats it off the road for Winter!

Titch, that nearly happened to me when I was doing my starter motor on the K10,
It fell and I must of shouted the longest ''OOOOHHHHHHH SH**********T'' but found the bolt on the floor!!!

Theres an inspection plate cant you take off that and use a magnet or use a flexi magnet down the starter hole? dont worry mate,

Had a closer look at it and it seems to have fallen on to the fly side of the wheel. Sorry Drive side.

So may get away with prying the box a little off the engine and seeing if it'll fall out, but not hopefull!
