Brakes Binding

I think the nearside front brake is binding slightly, had a passenger in the car today and with the passenger window down i could hear it, noise went away when braking so i'm pretty sure its that!

These brakes are pretty dusty so do you reckon its clogged up or what? How easy is it to clean up the callipers and suchlike?

Get some brake cleaner, spray it on lol. It could be the wear clips (sounds like tinny metal scraping) which mean new pads will fix it

if they,re binding, the wheel will get hot, if they,re making noises, best check there,s some pad left :glance:

Well, they're making noises, and the wheel tends to be warm when i stop so i guess they are binding... The brake cleaner seems a bit heath robinson! I'm gonna take them off and have a look, new pads if necessary good clean up etc.

I very much doubt the pads are out because they were new in march, but then again i do do a lot of country driving... And the alloys are always covered in dust.
