brake pad life!

how long do your front brake pads tend to last?
this goes out to those with solid discs!
i only got 7500 miles and im down to metal again! :doh:
ferodo pads aswell not cheapo ones.
maybe its my driving style! :devil: brake late and hard :laugh:
im gonna upgrade to bigger brakes this weekend providing micramike86 gets my axle here before friday fwn (Y)

I'm also concerned about my brake wear on the fronts, seem to get through a set of pads every 8 - 9000 miles. I don't exactly thrash it, and a lot of those are motorway miles.

The Pistons aren't retracting far enough which is keeping the Pads in contact with the Brake Disc.
