ball joints

hi guys has anyone ever had an issue replacing ball joints? ive got the old one out but ive tried 3 different manufactures now and they all just slip into the control arm with a few mm of play in the arm. the way i see it they should really be a tight/press fit into the arm? any help appreciated

I got the eboy service specials and had to use the big C clips top and bottom ballpoint recess groove . Don't why it's just the way it is.

so yours were lose in the shell as well?

nope just unable to stay secure without top and bottom circlip.

Its easier just replacing hole arm you can get one on eBay with bushes & ball joint for £25

That's interesting. No problems when I replaced the front ball joints.

I ordered mine via eurocarparts, OCAP ball joint Part No.: 617700558.
