auto box swapped fopr manual

is this right, in that if i get and engine with an auto box attatched all i need to do to change it to a manual box is swap the fly wheel? and obv put a manual box on! cheers

you will need the flywheel, clutch, clutch cable, gearbox, smaller brake pedal, clutch pedal + associated linkage, gear lever linkage and thats possibly it, but could have missed something...plus any electrical wiring bits that need adding / swapping.

guessing the auto has lost forward and reverse gearing?

na i was just wondering because im lookin for a whole k11 in the near future, for my k10 project and was wondering if it was possoble because i can find a low mileage auto engine for notthing!

i think you would be ok with the pre98 1.0 flywheel and k10 g/box (k10 are 5 stud and k11 are 6 stud)
