are all 1.3's the same

i am thinking about buying a new engine for my super s, and was wondering if any k11 1.3 engine will go straight in, plugs an all, or is anything needed/different? Thanks in advance, Blackler.

Everything is the same, although the auto blocks are stronger.

yes, all k11 1.3s are the same except 1.3 auto as mensioned by craig

There are also MArch 1.3 blocks which are slightly different..

absolutely none, the only difference is in the fly wheel and clutch which although not part of the block will need changing for a manual gearbox

excellent, thanks for digging that out, i love learning new things, especially obout my car. i've seen a similar thing done on turbo'd b16a (honda) blocks, where they have drilled and tapped the side of the block and inserted bolts against the cylinder walls. insteresting stuff aye!
