alternator problem

alternator is broken. it does not supply enough electricity for my car. i own a be1 but i know be -1 has the same engine as k10 (ma10). it's very hard to get k10 parts here so does anyone know other nissan's alternator can put in directly??? like the pulsar n12 or 13? please help otherwise i can't drive it out at night. thanks

hello mate, which country are you from?

k10 parts are easy to get hold of in the uk, always parts available at scrapyards near manchester...

your best bet might be ebay but they are quite bulky to post...

hi mate, i am from australia. not many k10 around here !!!!! so that i am looking other nissan alternator that might directly fit into my be-1

I think the alternator is the same as the one fitted to the uk Cherry (n12) but don't quote me on that, the best thing to do might be go to your local breakers with your be1 alt and see what nissan alts look similar!

Cherry wasn't called Cherry in Australia.....can't remember what is was called atm...*thinks*
