alternater wiring

got rest of loom today from micra and the alternater wires on the loom i got have a 3 pin plug on it along with one wire with ring conector on it....the alternater i need it to fit has 2 pins on it both with ring conectors is there a way to mod the loom so that it will suit 2 pin alternater or will i have to shell out for the alternater to suit loom.

do you mean the plugs casing is a 2 pin, or that there are just 2 pins inside a three pin plug...because from memory (i can double check this if you like -- just incase im talking ######## lol.) the micra alternator wiring has a three pin connector but only two pins, as the middle pin is empty.

nah the loom im using is from micra so conector has a 3 pin plug for alt. but im using primera engine box and alt the alt has only 2 pins sticking out from the rear so can the micra loom be modded to fit onto the primera alt or would it be easier to just buy a micra alt and use that instead
