Can anyone help me with a wiring diagram to assist me in making a wiring harness for a Unichip piggyback ECU??
Yes, I understand I will have to take it along to a Unichip tuner to get it tuned for my car.
Yes, I understand the tuner could make the harness for me. I would just like to pay them for tuning the car, not for time spent building a wiring harness
I have the ECU, unfortunately I have no complete wiring harness or diagram. I have the plug going into the ECU with about 2 inches of 7 wires coming out.
Wires in the 8 x 2 pin plug are as follows
Pin Colour
3 Brown
7 White
8 Orange
13 Purple
14 Light Blue
15 Black
16 Red
All other pins are empty.
Of course I have no way of knowing if this bit of wiring harness is correct or if the colours of the wires used represent anything specific.
The ECU was purchased for a fair price both parties were happy with. It was from a K11 with similar mods to mine.
I'm not expecting huge gains. I'm not planning on turbo charging or super charging my car.
I just want to tune my car to utilise effectively the intake & exhaust mods I already have on my car. Not just power increases but also fuel efficiency.
So please, no discussions in this thread about what ECU is best in your opinion ;-)
At this time I just want help with the wiring diagram for this ECU so I can take it to the tuners ASAP.
