Aircon

My wife has an 08 plate 4door dci the question I would like to ask is. Is the aircon pump supposed to cut in and out when it's switched on or is it supposed to run continually I can hear it clicking on and off

As far as I am aware it should click on and off as the temp in the vehicle alters, this is based on my Peugeot as the Micra has none

It's doing it every couple of minutes or so

If its a climate control system it'll click on and off as necessary
