air feed

Iv been reading up on this but one thing i cant figure out is

1: can you put the air feed pipe straight onto the TB or does it have to go into an airbox.?

2: Does the length of the pipe make any differnece.?

i think he means to the t/b?

you could but you might find you suck alot of rubbish into your engine,

the airbox is there to hold the airfilter, which does what it says on the tin lol

i know MPH sells rally style intakes and filters but they are very expensive...

if you wanted a set up sort of like this you could try an induction kit?

if i've gone off about a completely wrong thing i apologise :)

no m8 your on about the right thing, see im buliding a grasstrack car, i have the filter removed already so thats not there nemore. I want to increase the diameter of the airfeed pipe, and just thought itd be quicker to put the pipe straight onto the TB, Ill put a strecthed womans tight over the end of the pipe to stop rubbish getting down the pipe.

oh ok,

could try some sort of piping, silicone bend maybe with 55mm diameter insulated piping from behind the grill or something?

The tights myth is usually wrong and most of the time will reduce power.
