air conditioner not working

Hi All,

My a/c is not working. When the button is pressed, it lights up but the air con is not triggered. There is absolutely no change in the engine noise. I have checked the fuse inside and a/c fan fuse under the bonnet and they are good. What could be the problem? The blower fan works fine and was on when the a/c button is pressed.

The compressor is powered by an electronic clutch. I would check this first .

if your blower isn't working check your card? 90% of the time the car that controls the blowers is corroded and needs replacing that's why mine stopped working the car is under the passenger footwell there's a screw you have to undo and then pull the card out there's a more detailed explanation on here just search for blower

The blower is working fine on all 4 levels. Its just the compressor not switching on, so it seems.
