Accelerator Cable Anyway of adjusting it

My Missus 1993 1.3slx auto micra's accelerator cable seems to be a bit loose is there anyway of adjusting it?

What do you mean by loose?

The accelerator cable attaches to the throttle body which is under the air box. There are 2 nuts that hold it on the throttle body housing, you can unscrew the one furthest away from you then tighten the other this will cause the cable to have less slack. Be careful not to have it too tight tho.
