A/C compressor replacement

Hello i have the 1.3 2000 model cg13de and my ac doesnt work any more
they told me that the problem is the compressor so i am looking for a used one.
i found the cga3de compressor for 80 euro.
is it the same?will it work?

also is there a way to find out if it is for sure the ac compressor?

My mums ac compressor went (1.4 k12 SVE)
She had it topped up twice, even though my dad and I told her there was either a leak or the compressor was dead <_<
If you turn the ac on but it not only doesn't get cold, there's something not right.
Have you had the system checked for leaks?

Any garage that can do an air-con recharge should be able to help.

It involves flushing it out and pressure testing it.

i went to a garage to refill oil and gas,an he told me that the compressor is faulty

hmmm.i tried again the AC today and it seems that even if i set it on cold air i still get very hot air from the engine!
is it possible that something is stuck and blocks the entrance of cold air?

You can hit it with a hammer after you've taken it out so the garage guys can fit the new one in
