2006 WTCC Brands Hatch (NOT 56k Friendly)

What a day, my mate Shifty works for Garmin, and they are a sponsor for the formula BMW events around the world, they follow the WTCC around. he managed to get Full VIP and hospitality tickets for the Brands Hatch event of the WTCC. he asked if i wanted to go for a birthday treat as he cant come out when it is my birth day (june 4th) so i couldnt say no.

we were in the hospatility suite that BMW brought with them, it was inbetween paddock and graham hill bend, in the dip. it was 2 sotires hight and we could see over the crowd below. it was dry and warm with a free bar serving larger all day, a full rost dinner (i had 2) followed by a chocolate fountain in the afternoon.

This thing was a bit of a monster, it has a Honda Vtec 1.6 engine pushing out 190bhp and it weighs about 700kg, thats approx 250bhp per tonne. its a GTM kit car gave him a flyer and got a free mag when i started talking about my love of kit cars. i think he just wanted to get rid of me

Lambo doors eh, hmmm i checked the doors and they were locked, i asked the bloke around it and they said they couldnt open the doors as we were at a motor sport event and the big boss wnt let them.

Never heard of alpina before but Ems and i passed one the other day! Never seen one before and now there's one on here. Are they suped up BMW's or something? Also loving the lambo wheels, and Lol at telling plato the best lines!

yeah i agree, but the lure of free food and beer, staying in the dry (it was hammering it down out site) and being able ot see too much all conspired to not many race pics.

i have some vids as well whe i find out how and where ot upload them
