12" and 10" subs

I've got a 12" sub already, but would it be any benefit to add a 10" as well? As far as I've picked up, a 12" or 15" is better for the lower notes, whereas a 10" is better for the punchy stuff. So is it worth having both?

Just one of my random thoughts...

I have a very good quality 10 inch sub and it sounds better than any 12 or 15 i've had.

If you want perfect bass a good 10 in a ported box is the way to go imo

All depends on Subs, install and budget. I had two 8's that would drop lower than some friends 10's and 12's would.

But don't mix different sized subs unless you know what your doing and are prepared to spend a lot of time fine tuning.

Nope, not all about the size of the subs. If the install is done properly, with a well designed box, then it shouldnt matter what size the subs are. My 2 12's in a custom ported box sounded ace and dropped like mad too!
