Does any one know an easy single man way of changing the fuel filter? the haynes recommends it's a two man job but half the time i'm on my own doing car jobs....

i'll come round if you want but here it is anyways...

>take out feul pump fuse under dash fusebox...
> attempt to start the car, it cuts out, repeat until it wont start...

>get two clothes pegs on the downward fuelpipe just below filter...
>same add two pegs to topside aswell..

>have a container ready for some minor spilage...
>unscrew both top&bottom...

Use molegrips and prise the filter away..

all in reverse for new filter... put in fuse and start for a min, give it a rev or two...

now turn off and check for leaks , tidy it up and there you go...

:) hope it goes well

ha... i just turn the car off... unscrew clips and pull hoses off..

you get some minor petrol spill, but not more than an EGG cup full..
