Hi My mam has a 2008 Micra (Tekna?) and apparently a light has come on, after showing her some pics in the handbook it seems its the MI/W light apparently it has come on then gone off a day or so later, I have vast knowledge of Nova's but not Micra's sadly and the handbook doesn't go into...

Just been out in my mams Micra to give it a jet wash and when I opened the door I heard a clicking so I opened and closed and to see if something was loose, the two bolts where the hinge is were loose and I tightened them up by hand, is this a common problem? It made me wonder if the door had...

My bad, they are screwed in, but mine fell off completely (Spax VSX kits are a tad stiff) and was just resting on the exhaust, if some bolts are still in place then undo them, it would be best to take it out really as it serves no real purpose, your car wont burst into flames without it, mine...

Heaters only work on full lol (needs a fuse) so yeah, blowers were on full whack, was too late to turn it on and go looking around at the time so will have a look when I get up. Cheers mate.

I have just reversed my mams car into the yard and I put the heater on to demist the front window a bit, when I did this, it emitted a high pitched scream, as if some metal was rubbing on metal as the fan was spinning, any ideas?

Yeah it sounds like the heat shield too, the exact same thing happened on my Nova, get under and rip it out, job done (Y) (don't be scared to proper pull on it, as they can be hard to pull out sometimes)

Quite common with people doing this to Nova's and Cavaliers too only with Nova's ya just gotta turn the hazard switch upside down to get it going :down:

Was a super s on there a while back for about 495 I got my mam to phone up about it as if she didn't buy it I would have, As I hear they're nippy little mofo's for a 1.3. Guy said bluntly, No we aint got one for sale and put the phone down, Shame as it was in semi decent condition.

So far no K10's, Wouldn't mind one as I prefer older cars, Hence the Nova-mobile and K10's look alreet.

I generally find up here that Micra drivers are all either old people or women and they never seem to exceed 50 mph, I wonder if that has anything to do with the standard suspension, As I am driving my mothers k11 at the moment and the suspension hates me and vice versa :laugh:
