Ordered x2 Michelin Pilot Exalto to be fitted in Jan :)

Was a tough choice between Toyo Proxes CF2s and Michelin Pilot Sport 3

I've got Firestone Multihawks on the micra at the moment, for a budget tire they seem to hold out well autotesting and such. Seem to be getting through them though ..

they get heat in them and they disappear faster than better tyres, some would say false economy

I saw too many people complaining about the tyre life.

They didn't seem that great, poor reviews calling them budget tyres

Reviews by who though?

I'm wary of reviews of tyres... most of em seem to be by people whoput them on their 'track car', cocked up and blame the tyre

Its a soft (soft/medium at best) compound tyre its not designed to last... that's why people complain, want everything for nothing

Grip is brilliant in the dry I felt and in the wet they were incredible aswell, car just wouldn't lift off oversteer or understeer in wet or dry conditions

Hrm. Need something all weather. The car doesn't get used enough..

Meh I got ages to find what I want. Going to try the Avons I've got on my racing sparco wheels

Yokohama A539 for me when I'm on the road.... Fairly grippy and stand up well to the heat of a sprint (they've done like 8 sprints and could do another 8 easy)

I never knew Gran Turismo 4 for PS2 had a March G#

Oh good lordy lou. I was bidding on fibreglass shell simular to that and winning for 99p. I did my research because of missing panels I'll see if I can dig it up :)

Edit: it was an mbc charger shell, not quite the same :p

I found it in a car lot a mile or so from my house. Epic little lot. a few MG BGT's, Morris minors, old black cabs. Would have them all if I had money/space/mechanical knowhow :p
