A weld is a weld so long as the penetration and the method is right then mig or tig or stick can produce good strong welds. Preference in my eyes. I can weld pretty much whatever I want with my mig (upto 10mm) so I'm happy

Take it off the car first and it won't burn whatever you use
No I mean tig can burn holes on the rails and tig will work more better and softer without putting much heat on and won't pool as much ? Or am I wrong there ?Take it off the car first and it won't burn whatever you use

Any welder can burn holes it needs setting up properly for the thickness of material
No idea what you mean about a tig being softer. Up to you how much you get pooling burn on a fuel rail you wouldn't hang around
Like the mig is really strong and welds thick wire out and lowing the power don't work as I tryed last time that's why I sold it maybe have to get use to my tig and hope it works like a soft candle with a lower control on my rod filer

I'm a mig person. Never needed a tig so you'll have to ask another chap who can tig.. like @enuo
I wana mig welder now just wana know if it's like tig ? And has the same input as both are same ? And weld all sorted of metal ?

Tig is two handed, slow and requires patience but is very neat and gets good welds
Mig is just quicker and one handed
A mig wont weld aluminium without some fancy bits and bobs and fair whack of practice. A tig will with the right stuff. Its preference
right wat will do all a rounder ? Meaning any metal any tickness and to last a fair bit of time ? And cheaper to run? And parts and bits easy to get ?

You can, but you need both hands to tack with TIG so you can't for example, hold a repair piece up to a sill and tack it, you have you find aome way of holding it there without your hands
Yeah, it's just not as easy according to enuo

I've had nissan and subaru and created nissanubaru
This is a nissan and a nissan so such creativity can't be used
There's about 3/4 projects before this one so its gonna take a while being as each one I give a year for.
Micra (K10 of course)
Coupled with a Skyline GTS-T, GTR etc etc. So long as its the 2.5 turbo I'm happy
So I need a decent name
Nissanissan isn't allowed before we start
Micra GT-R is tad plain
I've had nissan and subaru and created nissanubaru
This is a nissan and a nissan so such creativity can't be used
There's about 3/4 projects before this one so its gonna take a while being as each one I give a year for.
