waiting for the better weather to paint and fit it,
i have debadged the boot will take a pic soon

other mods i would like to do
*remove bump strips
*remove rear wiper
*Lower 35-40mm
*possibly alloys (could get a set of 15" nissan 5 spoke from my mams 51 plate primera, unsure peoples opinions please?) will try and get a pick
Paint Rocker cover, freinds dad goin to steam clean engine bay when weather is good :)
possibly strip interior
wouldn't mind a roll cage, bucket seat and harness,
short shifter

15" alloys are too big in my opinion, 14 or 13 inch for the best but if your only lowering 35-40 then it'll take up the arch gap, my advice to anyone is get 50mm springs and 14/13 inch alloys/steel wheels :) look around at peoples blogs or just micra pictures in general, you will see some good examples of lowering/wheel combinations

well if your worried about that then dont bother with a rollcage lol seriously though ive not seen a good looking 35mm drop yet, but if its more of a (get it off its stilts) then yeah it'll be perfect for you :)

priced insurance for dropping it and the bucket seats extra £30.10 for both from today shame i dont have the parts :(, they said i can drop it up to 50mm, could i do that cutting the coils or would i be better buying new springs? anyone help?

decided on 35mm springs for the moment, got my msc membership club pack a stupidly decided to try and put the stickers or after it had been raining and one didnt stick as the window didnt dry properly :/ so new sticker needed hopefully removing rear wiper tomorrow after work :) still to get picks i will try when when im removing the wiper

eventually gettin round to taking pictures of my car

Tried to remove the rear wiper but the rubber grommit i had bought was too small :/ so need to find one to fit until get the weather to fill smooth and paint, scratches on the front a rear bumper i want painted, bubbled paint on the offside front wing, engine bay needs a good clean, ordered some stainless rocker cover bolts to replace the crappy old screws, hoping to paint the rocker cover
, would i need high heat paint?

i dont no iv never painted before so should be fun mario XD and is halford high heat any good? just for rocker cover? and would it need laquer on it too

Just follow the Haynes guide to removing and replacing the cover, oh and it's pretty obvious but cover all holes where particles could escape and stick inside, I have a spare coilpack cam cover so can take your time doing it right without rushing to get it back on the car if your interested it just needs the old paint sanding off

spoiler painted and on

Looking good, you just need to peanut butter all the grey plastic :). Oh yes and *cough* alloys *cough* :D.

im hopefully getting alloys soon :) and was goin to try black shoe polish? and remove side bump strips just been struggling with cash due to replacing exhaust :/ lol

Ha, ha, tell me about it! Alot of the guys on here swear by peanut butter*, I reckon black polish would look a bit streaky...

*Crunchy or smooth though, they never said...

sorry for the crap pics taken on mne phone in the dark al try and get some when there on

i wouldnt of bothered but theres only 3 centre caps for the wheels so im not bothering puttin them on

good job so far... I'd use a toffee wheel on a drill to remove the rest of the glue... then go over with t-cut and then a polish and should be good as new (Y)

I'm goin.to try and put the wheels on today and get some pics, and I'll try and get round to removing the glue before japfest

On my 106 and astra and the side strips on my fiesta I used a cloth soaked ever so slightly in white spirit... then cleaned off and polished the full panels!
Worked wonders, no marks or colour loss or anything! :D
However I've changed my tact with the Micra and keeping all strips and factory stickers on!!!

I tried white spirit it did kind of work but the glue was really stubburn and left a residue I got lent one of them toffe wheels to try not knowing what it was put it in a massonary drill and it worked a treat not sings it ever had side strips

i might have to get a toffee wheel then :) wheels whent on then came back off due to only one spigot ring fitting :/
