York Drag Strip Today

Went to York Drag Strip today as there was a event on.

Anyway i took the micra on the dragstrip and i thought id get pretty high results but im actually happy with it..

1st try against a Evo in cat X eg very very fast haha

2nd Try against a Ford Fiesta Zetec (06 reg) and gotta say i did very well! thought i won till the slight end

but had a good time..

those results were as the car is at the moment with sound stuff in etc.

not too bad for a 1.0l dude. You don't race the car in the other lane, the true race is agaist yourself and the clock. I'll be looking to go down when i do some mods the car, hopfully just before uni starts, if someone deicdes to sell a manifold anyways

i went so i know what it is as it is with ice in etc. Without ice of course im looking quicker everything.

heh its pretty funny to think that little bandit could have beat the evo though

i have to have a giggle too - its purely pointless taking a 1.0 micra with so much gear in it up the strip...if i had of been in the croud i would have pointed and laughed, nice car but youve made your choice to go looks so stay with it lol

thats why mine will look standard and hopfully pull mid to low 16's.
