Yet more newbie questions about servicing.

Hi peeps, I'm just getting ready to do a pretty major service of the K11.

I'm looking to buy a new oil filter, does the brand matter? What's the best one to get? Is it worth putting bike oil in my gearbox?

Also on the subject of filters, are the Pipercross/K&N direct replacement filters worth it or is it worth getting a whole replacement setup.

Oil filter wise i just use genuine Nissan ones.

I thought that would be good enough. I'm not looking to make it super powerful, but if I can get a bit of extra power then I will.

Btw iirc you should find info about air filter options on here already as i'm sure there was a bit of discussion about it before
