Would like to find.. headlamp buzzer

Hi.
I read a thread about finding the headlight buzzer (beep when you open the door with lights on and ignition off) as mine has gone quiet, and the info was that there should be a small (possibly yellow) buzzer unit behind or attached to the little shelf under the steering wheel. So I took it off, and there is... nothing. RHD car, right?

It used to work. Has someone stolen it..!!
So, where do I find the connections for it? Is it something that could fall off, pull out etc, and if so from what or where does (or should) it plug in..? It seems to be missing from any circuit diagrams I can find online so far as well.
Any help to track it down much appreciated.

If not, I'll have a look in mine when I get home and see what I can find....

Sounds like you need a Haynes manual too....
