wishbone bush

this is my front jacking point,,,same as rear. i see the wishbone bush showing a gap ? looks worrying to me

any ideas.

A good way to check is to put the hand brake on , put the car in gear and bring clutch up to the biting point. Get someone to check if either front wheel is moving back and forth excessively. That should show if you've got a worn bush

EDIT I think that's actually how you check a ball joint :-(
