Will it fit?

Hi all!

New micra owner from Norway here. I have been given a 1987 K10 GL 1.0 manual that needs to be put through the Norwegian equivalent of the MOT pretty swiftly. It seems in pretty good shape, except for ominiuos sounds originating from the front right wheel when turning to the left, and taking off. Chances are the driveshaft is worn out. The local car breaker has got a driveshaft from a 1988 1.2 litre Micra with manual tranny. Will this fit?

hi, it will fit to my knowledge. i have this problem on my 1991 ls, coming from the left front, sounds like somthing rubbing on the brake disk (like when you ride a bike with a buckled wheel). is this the drive shaft?

sounds exactly like ours. Driveshafts....approx £30 + vat.

I suppose you could get away with replacing one but a pair is always better.

should fit mate the only prob i've ever had was when i tried to fit a pre facelift drive shaft to a facelift k10, had to change the entire hub to get it to fit but this was years ago so im not sure why it didnt fit. manual and auto driveshafts are the same so no problems there

i've had both W/brgs done and the noise was still there afterward...lol!
