widest tyre on steelies???

whats the widest tyre i can get on a standard 13" steelie?????:k10:

depdends what size steelies, 12 or 13? on 13's, you can easily put 185/60/13's, which is a very nice size for the k10

i was thinking about this today i have 13" alloy wheels would the 185s definately fit the 13s?

going wide for no reason on wheels which dont really fit will cause HORRIFFIC tyre roll. You really dont want this, it makes the car feel very unstable in high winds.

185s seem a bit too wide as thats on like a 5.5j wide rim and the micra steely is like 4j

the standard 13" steelies are 5j x 13. 185/60/13's are absolutly fine. I had a set of them and it was fantastic. No tyre roll.
