Which 2 litre engine??

im attempting a 2.0 conversion into a k11 micra, does anyone know which engines will fit in ( obviously with alot of work) ive been looking at 2.0 almera, primera ,sunny gti? any help? im also looking for a micra to do this with so one with good body work but problems with engine or gearbox very cheep? cheers

the almera primera and sunny all share the same sr20 engine, now there are a couple of varients, like the almera GTI anf the primere eGT and the sunny GTI were equiped with a slightly modified 150bhp version but lesser 2 liter models only had about ~138.

or a sr20det be aswell slapping a turbo on top of that 2litre block

ye, i did think about it but i want it to be as reliable as possible aswell as fast so im gunna see how i go on with just a n/a then possibly in the future turbo it.

The best engine is from a sunny GTi,that's a higport standard with 143 php.
I have a SR2DE in my micra for on the moment is N/A better handeling,then a turbo.
With other camshaft,nistune and a good exaust train, you get 200 bhp.
