Wheel arch rolling

Hey I just had the micra lowered an inch with pedders springs and got kyb shocks, I also put 15 x 6.5inch wheels on... the whole thing is a different car now but when I steer fast around corners the tyres scuff on the wheel arches, I spoke to a mechanic and he reckons it will cost me $50 to have them rolled.

Does anyone have any input into this before I get it done?

Cheers Dean

$50 for professionally rolled all round is a GOOD deal...

any more than that and i'd be buying a heat gun, just go slow as to not wreck the paint

"yeah- i reckon the vid is great but on my Super S I reckon I'd go with a pro. As turbo says $100 to get such a significant thing done properly is a good investment

i'd give it a go if i was going to repaint the car.. but even then, a guard roller gives you a nice smooth finish, with a hammer, your gonna have dents all through the inner gaurd.. not that you see it but. i just borrow a guard roller of my tyre shop for the weekend, couple of cartons, and you can do as many cars as you like... if your tyre shop is any good, they'll do the same.
