What should i consider buying ?

Are forged engine parts hard to come across for the 1.3 ?
Rods/pistons/ probably crank aswell as i'd want crazy rpm and boost.
I doubt pulsar running gear is obtainable for 5k so I'd stick with a front wheel drive project, turbo would be cool but I agree the SR16 would be even cooler!!
Would you not be better with an SR20VE as they are more easily obtainable and are they not the same block etc as the SR16 so more tuning potential for it with a 5K budget?

But the sr20's kick out a not to shabby 150bhp
and then the sr16 Neo N1 engine, kicks out a crazy 197bhp and redlines are 8000rpm in stock form..
Hmm, too much choice, wouldnt mind just dropping it off at some ones and comming back in a weeks time with some cash and a micra with a 2.0 turbo lump fitted..

Don't want it to look like a home brew jobby tho, i want a QUALITY finish.
