What is Ds??

Hi guys,

I've just got a '96 Nissan Micra with an automatic gearbox. I'm just wondering what Ds mode is on the box?? I can't figure it out.

:down: I know nothing about cars, so this may be a ridiculous question...

As above, but it holds it back from top gear so you can rally about a bit without waiting for it to change back into third.
