Water Pump Idler Pulley Delete

Hi everyone, I have sourced an annoying squeak to be the idler pulley for the water pump. I know the bearings are crimped in making pressing the bearing out and replacing a pain. I know a few people on here have deleted the idler and run a slack belt for the pump. does anyone know the optimum size belt for this bypass. 4pk610?? something like that? any help appreciated, thanks

mine was 613 iirc, a 610 would have been better but the one i tried was a different brand of belt and was actually slacker

Thanks pal, any long term effects with cooling or anything i should look out for when I change?

i had no problems for years with that setup seb ^ but the slacker belt cooked an engine at mallory park
here is the coolant flow with that slacker belt, you can see the pump pulley slippage at higher rpm
